You make a check list for all the items you WILL NEED to bring with you the day of the wedding, but you don’t make one for all the items that will need to return with you. Several items that get left behind include:
I.D.’s or credit cards from open bar tabs
Clothing that you arrived in
Shoes. They get really uncomfortable and you kick them off somewhere and then forget where exactly.
Sand ceremony vases or unity candles
The best thing to do to ensure that items like these don’t get left behind is to assign your parents or bridal party members jobs. Now do make sure if mom and dad will be responsible for gifts that they not bring dad’s sleek, two-seater, sports car to the wedding because they will be making numerous trips to get all the gifts home.
What day of the week should you choose to have your wedding on?
If you are trying to stay within a small budget consider having your wedding on an “off ” day. Friday and Sunday wedding dates are tend to be less expensive and much easier to book versus a Saturday. Many locations offer smaller minimums meaning your budget can stretch a little farther.
It’s the day of your wedding, everything has finally come together. It’s time to marry your best friend and celebrate with your closest family members and friends. You’ve gotten your hair and makeup done, your dress fits like a glove, your bridal party is keeping you calm in the final hours before the wedding, and you feel picture perfect. What could go wrong? All brides would assume nothing, but what’s life without a little bump in the road? It’s always best to be over prepared then under prepared. Therefore, on the day of your wedding there are a few select items you should pack incase of a mishap.
