Alex and Wendy’s ceremony and reception was crafty and cute. The couple was married in the courtyard ceremony location and tied burlap thread around glass bottles filled with flowers that were placed on the ceremony chairs lining the aisle.
The couple did a key lock exchange during their ceremony and carried the lock and key theme into the reception. Various sized keys had place cards with the guests seating arrangements tied onto the them.
Placed at each guests place seating was a Mad Libs sheet that featured questions about the couple and a monogrammed pencil with the couples name and wedding. Alex and Wendy plan on composing the Mad Libs together to create their guest book. Each place seating also featured a wine cork with the guest name hand written on a piece of paper.
Centerpieces for the evening included martini style vases with pale green pebbles and a small tea light. Confetti shaped in the form of a bride and groom were scattered around the centerpieces to provide just enough festive cheer.
The couple had a small cake created by Tasteful Cakes and a wide array of mini cheesecakes for the guests to enjoy.
The couple also had a candy buffet for guest to enjoy. The candy choices definitely went along with the black, green, and brown colors used during the wedding and reception.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Ortiz!
