9-10-11 was both numerically and blissfully perfect. Travis and Courtney had 120 of their closest friends attend their wedding and reception at Menifee Lakes Country Club. The ceremony took place on the golf course overlooking the pristine lake. The weather could not have been more perfect. The warm, waning days of summer dissipated and allowed for a cool, breezy September day.
Beautiful bouquets and an arch for the ceremony were provided by Unique Weddings and Floral.
Once the ceremony was over Courtney and Travis utilized the surrounding areas of the golf course for photos before their party inducing grand entrance. In the meantime, guests dined on bruschetta, asparagus spears, and teryaki beef skewers. DJ Palms, aka Brent, kicked the party off when he let “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO spin as Courtney and Travis were introduced for the first time as a married couple. Guests joined in on the dance floor to encircle them in the shuffle.
For dinner guests enjoyed Garden Salad, Fresh Fruit, Filet Mignon, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Wild Rice Pilaf, Fresh Vegetables, and Sourdough Rolls. The reception tables were decorated with ivory floor length linen, pink napkins, and ivory chair covers with a light pink organza sash.
Centerpieces included large vases that had tall candles inside and were decorated with pink bows dripping with pearl beading. Combined with small, votive candles, the centerpieces provided beautiful lighting during the reception.
The cake had a small fountain beneath it that provided a perfect amount of elegance. The three-tiered cake sat upon tall, white, pillars and was decorated in lace and pink rose petals.
September 10, 2011 could not have been a better day. It was wonderful to partake in a lovely wedding with an amazing bride and groom and their closest relatives and friends. Thank you Courtney and Travis for having your wedding at Menifee Lakes Country Club.
