{Real Wedding Decorations} Stephanie & Steve Inman Wedding May 24, 2012

Stephanie and Steve’s ceremony and reception on May 4th 2012 was beautiful and breath taking. The couple was married in the courtyard ceremony location with 120 family members and friends.

The reception was delicately adorned with flowers and glistened and sparkled throughout. The wonderful decorations and flowers were provided by Dawnielle at The Divine Event, who was more than just a close friend of the couples. The couple was able to save on the cost of the decorations by “hardscaping” most of the decorations. Meaning that they used  reusable materials like vases, candles and jewels from The Divine Event and adding small touches of flowers. The flowers included blue orchids calla lilies and  purple roses. The couple choose to use a combinations of a few different table arrangement from long family style tables, to large rounds even a small square sweetheart table for the couple. The reception tables were draped in white linens and accented with a silver or black runner, silver chargers, and a black napkins which held a menu card created by the couple.  The chairs were dressed with white chair covers and tied with a black specialty sash tied to the side and finished off with a sparkle accent.

Congratulation to Stephanie Steve Inman!

On Saturday April 14, 2012 Tracy Toscano and Jason Delong were wed at a local church and celebrated their reception at Menifee Lakes Country Club. The room was filled with champagne and pink accents and was wonderfully lit with the candles on the tables, the draping with lights and the roaring  double sided fireplace which warmed the reception area and bar perfectly on this cool Saturday evening.

The couple utilized the mirrors and candles provided by Menifee Lakes Country Club adding  pale pink and ivory rose and hydrangea centerpieces on each table.

The couple kept it traditional will a simple  three tired wedding cake and added a simple D Monogram topper to the cake.

The couple also incorporated the tradition of a grooms cake with a special marine corps designed cake, which tied in nicely since the groom was in full uniform for the wedding.

{Real Decorations} Young 50th Anniversary Party February 8, 2012

All that glittered, shined at Richard and Rita Young’s 50th wedding anniversary on February 3, 2012. Gold was the color theme to commemorate the special occasion and was utilized throughout the evening.

Tables were draped in ivory, floor length linens and accented with a organza gold-embroidered overlay provided by Sweet Flowers. Gold chivarri chairs and gold chargers provided the perfect amount of elegance to the party.

Sweet Flowers did a phenomenal job on the centerpieces. White Hydrangeas, tulips, roses, and daisies were placed in round, sparkle vases.  The candlelight from the tables made the sparkle from the centerpieces illuminate the tables.

A small mason jar was placed in the center of each table for guests to share their favorite memory with the happy couple. Guests also got to enjoy a slideshow throughout the evening that showcased the couples beautiful 50 year marriage. The room was set up to feel like a home with various photos throughout the mantles in the dining room.

DJ Jay Brannan did a wonderful job hosting the evening and getting everyone out to the dance floor. It was lovely to see the couples closest friends, children, and grandchildren come from far and wide to celebrate their anniversary. It was a beautiful evening and a wonderful time was had by all.

The couple was married in the courtyard ceremony location with sixty of their closest family and friends there to witness the vows of Cathy and Jonathan. The bridal party included the couples children and the bride was walked down the aisle by her son, Robert.

The reception was delicately adorned in flowers. The wonderful aromas coming from the Hydrangea, roses, and tulips enveloped the room. Tammy Richardson designed the floral arrangements and did a phenomenal job. Reception tables were draped in ivory linens and accompanied by ivory chair covers with a black stain sash, silver chargers, and black napkins. A small dance floor was set up in the center of the room for guests to watch the couples choreographed first dance to Savage Garden’s “Truly, Madly, Deeply”.  The entertainment for the evening included a band the couple saw when Jonathan proposed to Cathy at Guadalajara’s Restaurant.

{Real Wedding Decorations} Garrett Wedding January 23, 2012

Fun, personal, and charming described Sarah and Matthew’s wedding perfectly. Sarah and Matthew took a vacation from the cold conditions in Colorado to wed in warm Southern California weather on Saturday, January 14, 2012. The couple was married in our courtyard ceremony site under a arch with delicately draped swag accented with red roses, lilies, blue roses, and white flowers provided by Michael’s Flower Girl.

Place cards consisted of picture frames that had each guests name and their designated table. Tables were named after a location in the couple’s home state of Denver, Colorado. In the center of each table were picture frames that featured photos of the various locations. A candle was placed in the middle of each frame which illuminated the photos. Red rose petals and votive candles were scattered around the frames and added the finishing touches to the table.

The high lite of the evening had to be the bridal party’s grand entrance. The DJ individually announced each bridesmaid and groomsmen and then gave fun tid bits about each person. It was funny and insightful for guests to hear. Some of the groomsmen had been friends with the groom since the third grade!

The couples cake was one of a kind and it had a secret. The wedding cake was actually fake and it had a secret compartment where a small slice of cake was placed when it came time for cake cutting. Sarah and Matthew had sheet cakes that were cut and served by our staff to save on cake costs. The cake was made of fondant and fragile like an ordinary cake because it could be damaged by a bump or mishap. The guest’s had no clue it was a fake cake  until they noticed it stayed untouched as they dined on cake.

It was a wonderful experience working with Matthew and Sarah. We look forward to seeing photos in the near future from Baird Photography. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Garrett.

Mr. and Mrs. Morales were married on Friday, January 6, 2012. The ceremony took place in the courtyard location where a beautiful, white arch, from Hobby Lobby was decorated with red roses.

Red was the themed color for the evening in homage to Ashley and Michael’s favorite color. The reception tables were decorated with floor length black linens and red napkins. Centerpieces included a single red rose in tall glass vases that were filled with water and accompanied by framed photos of the couple. The centerpieces were reminiscent of Beauty and the Beast. Ashley and Michael also utilized the hutch in the entrance of the ballroom to showcase family photos.

The bridal party and the bride and groom made their grand entrance to “What is Love?” by Haddaway. You couldn’t help but smile and nod your head a la A Night at the Roxbury.

The cake was provided by Michelle’s Bakery and featured a white, three-tiered cake, with a black swirl design around the edge and trimmed with satin black ribbon. Red roses and red petals accented the cake.

Congratulations Ashley and Micheal Morales.

November 11, 2011 was a day to celebrate the marriage of Marybeth and Richard Solis. The couple had their ceremony on the golf course overlooking the pristine lakes of Menifee Lakes Country Club. Fifty-seven of the couples closest friends and family watched as the couple exchanged their vows under an iron rod arch decorated with pink roses and Gerber daisies provided by Michael’s Flower Girl.

The reception tables were draped in floor length black linen, ivory napkins, ivory chair covers, and black organza sashes. The couple utilized the floral arrangements from the ceremony as the reception centerpieces. The arrangements were placed on tall vases that were filled with pink colored water. Each guest received a bottle of Pale Ale beer the couple customized with labels that included their names and wedding date. The couple kept the beer theme in tact when it came time to assign tables, each table was given a brewery name.

The cake was beautiful and had edible glitter on it! The flavor of the cake was  Tequila Lime with mango mousse filling and buttercream frosting. Paired with the cake were enormous, red velvet cupcakes with cheese cake frosting and pecans from Amore Cheesecake.

The couple made their epic grand entrance to Bruno Mars’ “Marry You”, a personal favorite. Then, the party was officially kicked off. Congratulations Marybeth and Richard!
