Brooke and Steve’s ceremony took place on Saturday, September 3, 2011 in our courtyard ceremony location. The ceremony was modern and formal with pink accents. The ladies carried bouquets of lush pink roses while the brides bouquet was comprised of pink and white roses provided by Wes’ flowers. A black swirl detail was incorporated in the guest book and  in the ribbon wrapped around the bouquets.

160 guests watched as Brooke and Steve took their vows. Placed on each ceremony chair was a bottle of bubbles that had LOVE written on them in pink encrusted lettering  that guests blew as the bride and groom walked down the aisle.

As the sun set Brooke and Steve took to their reception in a red vintage mustang.

Congratulations!

{Real Wedding Decorations} Frederiksen Weddings August 31, 2011

Friday, August 26, 2011 was a day filled with lavender hues, candy buffets, and magicians. Sean and Rachel had their ceremony in our courtyard site facing the quaint, calming fountain. Framing the fountain was a beautiful arch decorated in purple flowers and dangling diamonds.

Purple wooden fans and bubbles were given to guests as they took their seats for the ceremony. Included on each fan was a small, hand-written note with the wedding date and couples name, thanking guests for attending the wedding.  As the couple walked down the aisle as the new Mr. and Mrs. Frederiksen guests blew bubbles that enveloped the aisle.

The reception included ivory linens, ivory chair covers, lavender satin sashes. Table tops were decorated with floral arrangements that included lilies, purple roses, carnations, green foliage, and purple hued babies breath. Centerpieces alternated between bunched floral arrangements, manzanita trees that had purple orchids and gems placed along their branches, and tall candles.

During cocktail hour guests were entertained by a magician who amazed them with his card tricks. For dinner guests dined on the Italian menu and enjoyed dessert from the deliciously tempting sweet creations provided by Judy and the decadent three-tiered cake.

VIP events, Andrea’s Photography, and Sweet Creations by Judy did wonderful work on Rachel and Sean’s wedding. Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Frederiksen for having your wedding at Menifee Lakes Country Club.

Best wishes,

C&C

Elva and Chris’s wedding has officially made burgundy our new favorite color. The ceremony and reception took place on Sunday, August 14, 2011. White tablecloths, white chair covers, and burgundy accents provided a romantic escape.

The ceremony was held on the golf course overlooking the lake. The altar was decorated with an arch drapped in flowers and ribbon.

Centerpieces included burgundy hued roses that almost looked like velvet. Inside the vase were jewels that illuminated the tables when the LED lights were placed in the center. It looked as if the sun was shining and twinkling on each diamond in the vase. Each place setting also received a favor box with small mints.

Not only was there a beautiful, giant cake accented with roses for Elva and Chris’ wedding there was also a cupcake tower for guests to enjoy.

Congratulations Elva and Chris! Best wishes.

Black, white, and pops of red, a timeless color scheme for Gloria-Grace and Demond Rose’s wedding on June 17, 2011. The Ballroom looked elegant, almost like it was dressed up in a tuxedo for the evening.  The bride created her own simple and crafty centerpieces which included engagement photos and two-cylinder vases with red and white rose shaped floating candles. Each table had a hand-made sign displaying the guests table numbers.

Included on the tables were festive handkerchiefs that each guest got to take with them at the end of the evening . The bride purchased them in New Orleans in ode to the grooms home town and heritage.

By far the most creative aspect of Mrs.Gloria-Grace’s wedding was her customized, one of a kind aisle runner that she created herself. It was phenomenal!

Gloria and Demond had two wedding cakes for their reception. One was a traditional, four tiered wedding cake and the other was a personalized groom’s cake. The groom’s cake was in ode to his hometown and favorite football team the New Orleans Saints. His cake was shaped like a football and had the New Orleans Saints logo and the team’s saying ” Who Dat? “.

{Real Wedding Decorations} Diers Wedding June 14, 2011

Fully bloomed Hydrangeas in lite shades of green, copper toned roses, all dusted in gold accents made June 5, 2011 a bright, clean, airy, spring day for a wedding. Jennifer and August had beautiful, bursting arrangements, provided by All Wrapped Up, at each table and utilized small arrangements to decorate the ceremony chairs lining the aisle.

Smaller arrangments lined the aisle

The colors for the wedding reception matched the vaulted wood ceilings, the earthy, warm, wall color, and the wood finishes of Menifee Lakes Country Club perfectly. The bride had small wooden fans placed on each guests ceremony chair so they could enjoy a slight breeze during the ceremony.

The fans made their way into the reception too

The couple was ecstatic about tying the knot which made working with them and their adorable, 5-year-old ring bearer, Lucas, a pleasure.  The little guy made working this event a breeze, not only did he look adorable in his 3 piece suit, he brought us flowers as we worked to make the reception setup perfect, and kept asking when the dancing was going to start.

During the reception Jennifer’s Daughter gave the most amazing speech, by far the best we have EVER heard. It was so touching it brought us to tears as well as most of the guests at the wedding. We tried to quickly dry our tears in order to hand off  tissues to the bride and groom. Moments like these make us love weddings so much, it is all about love and happiness!

Congratulations, Jennifer and August!

Another successful wedding and with it a new set of table decorations from  Kristin & Daniel Ramierez’ wedding on May 22, 2011. The room was draped in red and adorned with ivory hues, lush red and white roses, and decorative pieces from the happiest place on earth, Disneyland. The room was so whimsical and delicate it reminded us of a sweet, red velvet cupcake. The couples cake was provided by Tasteful cakes of  Ontario, CA ( http://www.tastefulcakes.com/ ) and had a crystal Mickey and Minnie Mouse cake topper to incorporate where they met. The couple met at the place where dreams come true, Disneyland and could there honestly be at greater place to begin your fairytale? They kept the Disney theme going by providing personalized wine glasses with Mickey and Minnie mouse kissing at each guest’s place setting. The intricate scrolling and swirling detail on the cake cutting set reminded us of Sleeping Beauty’s castle which were also monogrammed.

Ceremony Spotlight May 23, 2011

If you are looking for something quick, cost-effective, and simple to set up and breakdown this is a perfect option. This photo comes from a ceremony on May 21, 2011, the couple kept it very simple, elegant, and basic with family and friends.  Our facility provided the ceremony chairs and it took them only minutes to add the ivy and floral swag to the chairs and scatter rose petals down the aisle. It made set up a breeze and gave them ample opportunities to take photos and spend time with their friends and family.

{Real Wedding Decorations} Dreher Wedding May 18, 2011

Our latest table decorations come from Jennifer and Christopher Dreher’s wedding on May 13, 2011. They had their ceremony and reception at our facility and highlighted the altar site with a beautiful arch draped in tulle and adorned with Hydrangea . Their color scheme welcomed spring with pastel hues of lavender and green. They used fully bloomed Hydrangeas in the center of each table as well as 2 framed childhood photos of the bride and groom. They embraced the groom’s family tradition and used his grandmothers cake cutting set that has been used by previous generations on their special day. Congratulations Jennifer and Chris and best wishes.
